Once again the fastest has been Ivan Bellarosa (Team Petrolube - Avelon Formula), ruling since qualifying with a stellar pole position set in 2'17.543, relegating to +1.910 the Ligier driven by Schell-Makowiecki. In race two was slowed down by a technical problem and by the 20kg ballast weight he had on board, therefore Bellarosa had to content himself with the fifth place.
The Italian team Line Race obtained the first podium of the season as they managed to take to the second place the lineup made by Federico Vecchi and Ronnie Valori, that followed the seventh place obtained in race one.
In the top ten of race one also ended Guglielmo Belotti (Avelon Formula), very good in fifth, followed by Greg Caton and Rowland Kinch (G-Cat Racing). In the second race, beyond the already mentioned Bellarosa, Vecchi and Valori, Belotti confirmed his competitiveness with the seventh place ahead of Oliver Porta and William Cavailhes (Ibanez Racing Service).
Ivan Bellarosa strengthened his classification lead reaching 60 points, 23 more of Anthony Gandon (Norma). Belotti is currently third at 32 and is followed by Kinch at 31. The Speed Euroseries will be back on track next 24 June in Imola. |
