Ivan Bellarosa and the Wolf GB08 end the Speed Euroseries 2011 with another hat trick

26/09/2011 – The Speed EuroSeries 2011 ended at Estoril with the mark of Ivan Bellarosa, author on the Portuguese track of an impressive hat trick made of pole position, double win and fastest lap of both races. A strong supremacy that highlighted once again and even on the European stage the technical superiority of the Wolf GB08-Honda.

Positive was also Guglielmo Bellotti’s performance as he ended third on the podium of race one and eighth in race two; Dean Stirling produced a solid performance too thanks to the second place in qualifying followed by an eighth and third place in the races.

In the final classification, Wolf Racing Cars won the teams title with 229 points, 12 clear of the closest rivals. In the drivers’ championship Stirling ended third at 111 points, just three points short the title winner, followed by Bellarosa at 104.

Ivan Bellarosa:
“We lived a great season finale where I won six out of six races obtaining 97 of my 104 total points. The absence in Donignton and some un-favourable episodes at the beginning of the season have been crucial but we are extremely satisfied anyway on winning the teams title and on showing once again the high competitiveness level of the Wolf GB08”.
