12/01/2012 – After a 2011 full of success in Speed Euroseries, where the Wolf GB08 lined up by Avelon Formula dominated the final six races with laptimes constantly more than one second faster than the competition, Wolf Racing Cars decided to aim to the title of VdeV Proto Endurance 2012, the most successful European series reserved to class CN cars.

Avelon Formula will take part in the scheduled eight events with a consistent number of Wolf GB08-Honda showing the traditional black and gold livery. Ivan Bellarosa and Guglielmo Belotti, who held the leadership in Le Castellet 2011 race before being forced to the retirement due to technical reasons, are among the confirmed drivers.

Giovanni Bellarosa:
“The VdeV is the European reference point in terms of endurance races reserved to class CN cars, where all the main competitors of Wolf Racing Cars will be racing officially. The level of teams and drivers is very high and we aim to show that, as happened in Italy in 2010 and Europe in 2011, the Wolf GB08 is still the car to be beaten even in such a competitive environment.
We are also evaluating the chance to take part in the Special Open Trophy: the final decision will be taken before the end of January”.
