Wolf wins the challenge with Tatuus and Osella in the final round of the Speed Euroseries in Barcelona

08/10/2012 – The Speed Euroseries 2012 ended last weekend in Barcelona in the mark of the Wolf GB08, the car dominating the season winning all the titles. The Spanish round lived an interesting challenge with Tatuus and Osella that were also present with their top challengers driven by strong drivers.

The verdict of the track confirmed once again the superiority of the Wolf GB08 as the new champion Ivan Bellarosa (Team Petrolube – Avelon Formula) dominating both races after a little problem that slowed him down in qualifying. Good performance also from Guglielmo Belotti (Avelon Formula), who finished on the podium race two and obtained the third place of the final classification.

Giovanni Bellarosa (Wolf Racing Cars, General Manager):
“Despite all the titles being already awarded, the round of Barcelona was anyway interesting to us. Tatuus and Osella were present with some highly esteemed drivers like Bernoldi, Francia and Uboldi who did not manage to get closer to the race pace set by the Wolf GB08.
Particularly in race two, despite the 20kg sportive ballast on board, the performance gap was quite evident with the Wolf on average being one second per lap faster than the Tatuus and nearly three seconds faster than the Osella. The gap in race one was also of about a second on the single lap which shows once more the strength of the GB08 project that was granted also by the rpms control unit installed by the series organizer on our cars for the whole weekend”
