Wolf GB08 landing also in USA
26/10/2012 – Wolf Racing Cars continues its expansion programme and is pleased to announce Motorsports Southwest LLC directed by Dean Turnbaugh as the importer and distributor for North America.
The American commercialization strengthens further the success of Wolf GB08 in 2012, a season that saw the Sport Prototype car build by Avelon Formula constantly dominating with a big margin over the most appreciated competitors on the market such as Juno, Norma, Ligier, Osella, Tatuus and Tiga.
Giovanni Bellarosa (Wolf Racing Cars, General Manager):
“We are delighted to start this business relationship with Dan Turnbaugh and we will be sending shortly the first two cars to USA. We believe that we will do great things together with Motorsports Southwest: Dean is the partner we were looking for, a person technically very well prepared and that knows well the North American market with whom we had a good feeling since the beginning”.
Dean Turnbaugh (Motorsports Southwest LLC):
“Motorsports Southwest, LLC is pleased to be working with a very capable and competent car designer and manufacturer like Wolf Racing Cars. After visiting the three top CN car manufactures in Europe I found Wolf to be the top performing car and company and a very responsive team of people to work with. The Wolf design is truly state-of-the-art and not only is the GB08 the top performing CN car in 2012 but it also is a perfect platform for the North American market that also has segments that will demand more power than the 255 HP CN Honda K20. A 320 BHP Honda K2X engine is available in the US and the GB08S-V8 is a rocket that will fit a number of US race series. We are very excited about the partnership with Wolf and the fun we will have racing this car” .
