Wolf Racing Cars closing the Portuguese Championship with two double wins looking at the future of the series

24/10/2013 – The Wolf GB08 involved last weekend at Estoril’s final round of CPSP, the Portoguese Prototypes Championship, dominated the final part of the season.

Ivan Bellarosa clinched the pole position in both qualifying sessions with a consistent margin thanks to a superiority that was never questioned even in the two fifty-minutes-long races where Bellarosa hauled two one-twos leading twice Ricciardi-Santos, that is CRM Motorsport’s lineup – i.e. Wolf Spain and Portugal dealer. Bad luck for Belotti-Mastroberardino as they were very competitive but were stopped by a problem to the gearbox.

Giovanni Bellarosa (Wolf Racing Cars, General Manager):
“CPSP is the solely championship born in Europe in a period where several series are experiencing difficulties and others risk to disappear. For next year we plan to increase the presence of our cars on the starting grid and, in collaboration with CRM Motorsport, we are devising some strategies to provide our clients a spare parts service on track as well as technical support”.
