Wolf GB08MJ-F1is the first Sport Prototype car in the world with safety FIA Formula 1 Homologation
09/05/2014 – Wolf’s GB08MJ-F1 achieved another important result: the newly born challenger of Wolf Racing Cars passed this week all the static and dynamic tests made at the CSI of Milan in the presence of a FIA technical delegate, which earned it the FIA Formula 1 2005 homologation, that is the highest certification available for a racing car.
Wolf GB08MJ-F1became therefore the first and only sport prototype car to comply with the new Hill-Climb technical regulations, which exclude the current generation of cars.
The compliance with the FIA Formula 1 certification of our GB08MJ-F1 highlights once again the very high technological and safety level of the cars produced by Wolf Racing Cars. The same innovation spirit originated the Wolf GB08 that has been the first CN2 car ever built with carbon fiber back in 2010.
Giovanni Bellarosa (Wolf Racing Cars, General Manager):
“The FIA Formula 1 homologation achieved by the GB08MJ-F1 is not only functional to the new Hill-Climb technical regulations, but it also witnesses the quality, safety and technology that characterize all the cars by Wolf Racing Cars.
We are proud on being the first constructor to achieve this safety standard on a sport car: in seven months we managed to project, build and get the homologation of the GB08MJ-F1 following the most strict regulations, that are the same granting safety to Formula 1 cars. This is a great result for all our group, starting from the technicians Angelo Sala and Riccardo Romanelli”.
