Wolf GB08F1 and David Hauser at the FIA Hill Climb Masters
10/09/2014 – The Wolf GB08F1 will partake in the first edition of the FIA Hill Climb Masters this coming weekend in Eschdorf (Luxembourg). For the first time several titles will be awarded at the end of one single event. The car run by team Racing Experience will be driven by David Hauser.
The single seater that Wolf Racing Cars decided to employ to enter the hill climb racing market got birth only a few months in this year. It has been homologated with FIA F1 2005 standards and has already shown to be able to fight for the podium after the first races.
Giovanni Bellarosa (Wolf Racing Cars, General Manager):
“We get to this important round with the curiosity of comparing ourselves with some constructors that have been involved in this type of races for a long time. In a way, we already went beyond their products by homologating the Wolf GB08F1 to the FIA F1 2005 standards; now, a few races and a few months after the debut in the hill climb, we get to this important round that, despite the final outcome, will allow us to acquire some precious experience”.
“This season has been a great challenge both for Wolf Racing Cars and for Racing-Experience. The debut with the new Wolf GB08F1 required a lot of hard work by everybody to make the car how we would have liked. Progress has been constant and allowed me to finish twice in third place at the races of Saint-Ursanne and Turckheim.
I am proud of these results and I would like to thank Wolf Racing Cars and my team to make them possible. Our target for the FIA Hill Climb Masters is to keep going in the same direction of the most recent races and to fight for top positions. The level of our rivals is going to be higher that in any other hill climb race but the event will take place in Luxembourg which is my home country and I am quite motivated to give my best in front of my fans”.
