One Wolf in the entry list of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2015
05/02/2015 – Wolf Racing Cars, an historic name of Formula 1, came back to the motorsport stage on April 25 2010 winning the debut race in the opener of the Italian Prototypes Championship held at the Misano World Circuit.
Less than five years down the road, with some 47 victories and 5 titles have in the bag and 50 cars sold all around the world, Wolf Racing Cars is proud to announce its participation to the Le Mans Series in collaboration with Ibanez Racing. The sporting programme includes the participation to the ELMS 2015 with two Wolf GB08 P2 on Oreca – Nissan base, that will be replaced by the Wolf GB08 Tornado from 2016 as the car is currently at an advanced stage of development in the Wolf Racing Cars factory.
The car has been assigned number 45 and will be driven in the 24 Hours by Wolf works driver Ivan Bellarosa (ITA), Jose Ibanez (FRA) and Pierre Perret (FRA).
Ibanez Racing is Wolf Racing Cars distributor for France since 2011 and has already won the 4 Hours of Le Mans with the Wolf GB08. This solid sporting and commercial partnership allowed the partners to extend their collaboration and to start a new adventure in ELMS.
