Stunning pole position for Ivan Bellarosa and Wolf GB08 at the 6 Hours of Rome

12/11/2016 – Wolf Racing Cars’s weekend at the 6 Hours of Rome kicked off today in the best possible way, with Ivan Bellarosa taking a great pole position on Wolf GB08 powered by Peugeot with Michelin tyres and Simpson’s sponsoring.

The Italian driver and co-equiper Guglielmo Belotti, with whom he won the past edition, proceeded the Ligier JSP3 LMP3 of Mondini-Dromedari-Uboldi (1’30.869), the Ferrari 488 GT3 of Fisichella-Cioci-Moiseev (1’31.699) and the Renault RS01 of Kubica-Roda-Bobbi (1’31.995) thanks to a fastest laptime of 1’30.718.

This great performance will allow Wolf Racing Cars to enjoy a pole position start in an edition of the 6 Hours of Rome that announces to be very tight. Green lights will go out at 9:45 and the whole race will be available through live streaming on the website of the promoter of the event, Gruppo Peroni Race, www.gruppoperonirace.it, as well as in that of Vallelunga Circuit, that of Corriere dello Sport and Autosprint.

Giovanni Bellarosa (Wolf Racing Cars, General Manager):
“We showed once again the great adaptability of our car: after a few laps it provided the right confidence to drivers which allowed themselves to push hard to get the pole position. Guglielmo and Ivan did a great job. Starting ahead of the others is important even if the race is long. Strategy and race management are going to be crucial, but we are motivated and aware of having a very competitive package”.
