Wolf Racing Cars takes the first pole position of the season at Mugello’s 3 Hours Endurance Champions Cup and dedicates it to Stuart McCrudden.

06.04.2018 – Wolf Racing Cars claimed an extraordinary pole position at the Circuit of Mugello in the opener of the Endurance Champions Cup 2018.

Ivan Bellarosa led his Wolf GB08 Tornado ahead of all his rivals, clocking a 1’43.218s thanks to a superb performance. The Italian driver showed once more the great competitiveness of the Tornado, that has inflicted more than two seconds to the Norma M20FC powered by Honda Turbo and driven by Pirri-Magnoni-Marcucci, and more than seven to the first LMP3 car.

At the end of the session, the whole factory team Avelon Formula decided to dedicate the pole position to the memory of Stuart McCrudden, who passed away yesterday. McCrudden has been the creator, together with his son Oliver, of the FIA Speed Euroseries European Championship held in the seasons 2011-2013, that has seen Wolf Racing Cars winning it in 2011 and 2012. Today’s pole position is the #102 since the brand Wolf Racing Cars has come back to motorsport in2009.
