Wolf GB08 Thunder: a growing success
At the beginning of 2018, when the Wolf GB08 Thunder was chosen by the Italian Automobile Federation as the sole car to be used in the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship from 2018 to 2022, probably nobody expected such a success.
Many drivers at the start in the first two editions of the Italian Championship (out of a total of 49 drivers coming also from US, Canada, England, Russia, Sweden and Spain) were all able to appreciate the performance of the Wolf GB08 Thunder. The car has a carbon fiber chassis featuring a weight of 378 Kg and 200 hp, capable to go 3s per lap faster than a GT3 challenger and over 2s per lap faster than a Formula 4.
Giovanni Bellarosa (Wolf Racing Cars, General Manager):
“The Wolf GB08 Thunder has surely confirmed to be the car with the best performance to cost ratio in its second racing season. Thanks to its ease of driving it also represents the ideal car for Racing Schools and Gentleman drivers. In light of all of these features, we are pleased about all the interest around it as confirmed by the fact that new single-make championships are about to kick off in other countries as well”.
